At the NHRA Winternationals the Jim Dunn Racing team will step back in time, not only donning the retro paint scheme on the MOON Equipped Dodge Funny Car, but also wearing the crew uniforms of drag racing's glory days. The entire car will be in black and white, including the decals for primary sponsor ALO Drink and selected associate sponsors.
 
“We wanted to pay tribute to MOONEYES, who has been with us since the beginning and is one of our biggest supporters,” said team manager Jon Dunn. “Looking back on pictures of dad in the day, the black and white theme really stood out to us, so we decided that’s how the car should look. As for the uniforms, we thought that would be really creative and just complete the entire retro scheme.”

To go along with the MOON Equipped Tribute Funny Car, a new collectible hero card showcasing the long-time relationship between Jim Dunn Racing and MOONEYES will be available in the team pit area all weekend.
 
The 2015 NHRA Winternationals kicks off for Nitro teams on Friday, February 6th at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. Jim Dunn Racing’s new driver, John Hale, will be signing autographs at the Top Eliminator Club on Friday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 7th at 11:00 a.m.
