The Hennen Motorsports Top Fuel team is proud to announce a major sponsorship for their debut event, the NHRA AAA Texas Fall Nationals coming up September 18-21st at the historic Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas.  Dallas-based Gas Monkey Garage, with owner and television host Richard Rawlings, have come aboard as the primary sponsor of the Kebin Kinsley-driven, John Smith-tuned Top Fueler for the Fall Nationals and beyond.  Rawlings, the true definition of a gearhead and lover of the extreme horsepower and excitement of NHRA championship drag racing, couldn't be more excited to join team owner Roger Hennen as both hold big hopes for the future of this relationship.

They say everything is bigger in Texas and this partnership will truly honor that reputation as Rawlings and Hennen have big plans for the future, but the focus will remain on the immediate as the team highly anticipates their Top Fuel debut in a few weeks.  The plan is to play spoiler to the Championship contenders in the second event of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship by running hard and going rounds on Sunday.  Fans can get a sneak peak at the Gas Monkey Garage Top Fuel Dragster at the Pre-Stage Fan Fest on Wednesday, September 17th.  The Pre-Stage Fan Fest, which is free, takes place from 5-10 p.m.  Streets in the N. Dallas/Knox are will be blocked off so fans will be able to take full advantage of all the activities, which include music, food trucks and plenty of NHRA professional and sportsman cars. Fans also will have the opportunity to meet drivers and get autographs.
