This volatile division of competition which challenges doorslammers to run their cars with Mickey Thompson 315 Drag Radials has been made popular in major events promoted by Donald Long and most recently by the team at Osage Tulsa Motorsports Park.

In Tulsa last weekend, veteran Drag Radial racer Dwayne Mills took away the “official” record from Jamie Hancock with an elapsed time of 4.087-seconds at 194.91 miles per hour during the Radial Revenge Tour event. He returned with a 4.080 to further lower the mark while racing in legal trim as verified by the Tulsa track officials.

Mills’ Camaro weighed 3,236 pounds following the record run.
