The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Royal Purple Raceway has been rescheduled for June 19-21, 2015.  Because weather forecasts for the weekend call for very cool temperatures in the area and rain for the majority of the event, RPR Track Officials and NHRA working together, opted to change the date with input collected from racers, sponsors, and fans. 

“The cold temperatures and persistent rain forecasted for the Baytown area have us concerned,” said NHRA South Central division director Trey Capps.  “We hope that by making the call this early we’ll save our racers some travel expenses.”

This schedule change will also shuffle the JEGS Allstars events that will count toward points for 2015 and 2016. Please note on the schedule below that the No Problem Raceway event will now count toward 2015 all-star points and that the Royals Purple Raceway event will count towards the 2016 event.
