One of the drivers allegedly involved in the fatal street racing accident in Los Angeles County had ties to the Discovery Channel's Street Outlaws, a show which mimics illegal street racing in a controlled environment. This according to a report published by TMZ.com.

KTLA.com confirmed Irael Valenzuela, a 38-year old Los Angeles resident, was arrested Wednesday, according to county inmate records. 

His charges included two counts of murder and one count of engaging in a motor vehicle speed contest on a highway causing a concussion. KTLA confirmed this according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
