The charity donation was made in honor of a co-worker at John Force Racing, Sharon Brooks, who passed away suddenly in August of 2012. Brooks had a big heart and took part in this form of giving each year as part of her college sorority. Today, October 31, would be Brooks’ birthday and the John Force Racing office staff delivered the donation in remembrance of her.

“Making a donation to Sheltering Wings on Sharon’s behalf is a great way for us to celebrate her memory and birthday and take part in a form of giving that she felt so strongly about. Sheltering Wings is currently housing 20 women and 33 children and it makes us all feel good to help out any way we can. The staff at the shelter was extremely happy to receive our donation and that’s what matters most,” said Kelly Antonelli, Marketing Director at John Force Racing.
