NHRA Pro Mod racer Tim Tindle suffered an accident just short of the finish line during the first round of eliminations at the GM Performance NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

Tindle exited the car under his own power, according to a statement issued by NHRA. He is currently undergoing further medical evaluation.
