ULTIMATE 64 SHOOTOUT SPOTS AVAILABLE

The 2nd annual Ultimate 64 Shootout presented by Jeg’s Mail Order and Coronet Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge/Jeep is set for the weekend of July 10 at historic Mountain Park Dragway in Clay City, KY.  Several of the nations top racers will converge on the Northern Kentucky facility for their chance to compete for one of the largest cash purses in central America!

The weekend festivities will kick off Thursday, July 7, with a four-man scramble golf tournament.  Later that evening, competitors are invited to join the fun with a Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament at the track.  Friday, racing action gets underway with the first of three full days of competition.  Friday through Sunday, the event will feature Super Pro and No Box classes open to all entrants: Super Pro will pay $5,000-to-win each day for a $200 weekend entry, while No Box will pay $2,000-to-win each day for a $150 weekend entry.

In addition to the daily Super Pro and No Box events, Friday’s race day will also feature three separate 32-car gamblers races.  Each event will pay $5,000-to-win, with a $250 entry and no buybacks.  The three specialty events will be run for Super Pro, No Box, and Footbrake.  The Super Pro and Footbrake fields are already full, but there are spots currently available in the No Box Shootout.

Saturday brings the feature events of the weekend: the DSI Trailer Cleaner Ultimate 64 Super Pro Shootout and the Estes Oil Ultimate 64 Footbrake Shootout.  Each event features a hi-rollers entry fee ($1,500 for Super Pro, $500 for Footbrake), single elimination showdown for huge cash.  The Super Pro winner will join 2006 champion Steve Royalty in Ultimate 64 fame as the winner of a whopping $50,000.  The Footbrake champion will earn $12,000 for his or her efforts!  All 2006 entrants got the first opportunity to re-enter the event in 2007, so the Super Pro portion of the event is full, but there are a handful of spots left in the Ultimate Footbrake Shootout--contact Kelly Estes or Randy Helton to reserve your spot today!

In addition to the Ultimate 64 main events on Saturday, the facility will also host the daily $5,000-to-win Super Pro and $2,000-to-win No Box events, as well as a special Golf Cart and Scooter race Saturday night.

The event will conclude Sunday with the daily $5,000-to-win Super Pro and $2,000-to-win No Box class, in addition to the first annual Junior Dragster Ultimate 64 Shootout.  There are still spots available for the Jr. Dragster event, contact Kelly Estes or Randy Helton to reserve an entry!
