If given the choice to bring back an old school staple and make part of the modern day NHRA, an overwhelming majority of CompetitionPlus.com voted in favor of the AA/Fuel Altered.

bakersfield final 1The second largest voting percentage said they'd like to bring Pro Stock Truck back albeit with a few modifications to the rules.

Thirdly, the old gear-jamming Modified was edged out by the trucks. The class was disbanded at the end of 1981 and split amongst Competition and Super Stock eliminators. The NHRA replaced the class with Super Gas.
