ERIC MEDLEN GOLF TOURNAMENT NEEDS SPONSORS

The fourth annual Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by Morgan Lucas Racing and benefitting Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is looking for players and sponsors for its August 30 event at Eagle Creek Golf Club.

"I can’t believe how much this tournament has grown since we started it a few years ago," said Lucas, driver of the GEICO/Lucas Oil Top Fuel dragster. "For fans, it's a great way to have some fun with their favorite NHRA stars and for us drivers it's a nice way for us to relax before the pressure of racing in the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals."

The tournament is seeking individual players, foursomes and sponsors. Donations are $125 per player and sponsorships ranging from $250 to $3,500 are available. Drivers who have played in the tournament in the past include Brandon Bernstein, Shawn Langdon, Jeff Arend and Melanie Troxel.

"We'll have a longest drive deal and closest to the pin contest," Lucas said. "After we get done golfing, we'll have some good food, awards and the crazy live auction for some great memorabilia and other items and experiences. It's always a blast."
