Cruz Pedregon and Tony Pedregon will be match-racing, along with Dale Creasy Jr. and Jack Wyatt, next Saturday and Sunday during the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park.

They'll share the billing with the Pro Modified Racing Association's third event of the season, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series that that matches Top Dragster and Top Sportsman racers, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series which pairs Pro Bike motorcycles against Pro Sled snowmobiles.

Cruz Pedregon also will be racing Friday night at promoter Glenn Styres' Oshweken Speedway, driving a 360 sprint car on the notoriously quick 3/8-mile clay oval during the opening round of the Northern Summer Nationals.

"I'll bet I'm the first drag racer ever to race a World of Outlaws-style winged sprint car -- not just an exhibition but a real race -- then jump in a 300-mile-an-hour Funny Car the next night," he said. "It's going to be 'Cruz Pedregon Night,' so the pressure is on. It's a fun event. They had a great crowd last year, and the track was surprisingly good."

Tony Pedregon said he, too, was excited to return to Cayuga.

"It's a great facility," he said. "We went there last year, and it was a great experience. It left a good enough impression on us that we're excited to go back. We'll go and put on a show for everybody."
