AUTOGEEK.NET RENEWS WITH MASSEL

BrunoMassel2012 2Former NHRA Competition Eliminator World Champ Bruno Massel and Primary Sponsor Autogeek.net will reload for another run at the Championship in 2012.  While a nasty fire caused the team to struggle midway through the 2011 season, the team persevered winning back to back events in Noble, OK and Dallas, TX finishing 3rd in the national points standings.  “It was Autogeek’s first foray into motorsports and when I asked CEO Max McKee his thoughts on 2012, his response was simply “let’s go racing,” Massel said.

Other than a new graphic design for the upcoming season, the team’s potent turbocharged Chevy Cobalt will remain intact as they try to build off of the momentum they had at season’s end.  “I’m proud to have Autogeek back in our corner and if we can avoid some of the misfortune that has followed us the past two years, we’ll contend for the championship once again in 2012.”

“The partnership with Bruno has been a great fit for Autogeek.net.  We pride ourselves on not only providing a wide variety of high quality car care products, but also a wealth of car care know-how for detailers, hobbyists and car care enthusiasts like the typical NHRA fan,” said Autogeek.net CEO Bob “Max” McKee.  “We’re looking forward to another successful season.”

In addition to Autogeek.net, long time supporters Chevrolet, GM Racing, JEGS, Precision Turbo, Big Stuff3, National Beverage Screen Printers, Goodyear, Aeromotive, Performance Torque Converters and Bruno’s Automotive Products will be back on board along with newcomer Lucas Oil Products, as the team chases a 2nd NHRA World Championship in 2012.

The renewed partnership will kickoff at “Autogeek’s 7th annual Detail Fest” March 24-25th in Stuart, FL.
