FORCE HEADED TO DAYTONA

John Force, a 14-time NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series Funny Car world champion and one of the greatest ambassadors for all motorsports, is visiting Daytona International Speedway today, site of Sunday's Daytona 500.

Force, who has earned an NHRA record 122 victories and 131 No. 1 qualifying positions during his legendary career, will meet with media and NASCAR drivers and team owners during his trip to the historic NASCAR superspeedway.

In addition to touring the garage area and meeting with many of his friends who compete in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, Force will address media during a 1:15 p.m. (ET) press conference in the infield media center, make a guest appearance in the pit area for an interview with Allen Bestwick at 4 p.m. during ESPN's coverage of NASCAR Busch Series qualifying, and go live with the Motor Racing Network's Sirius Speedway with Dave Moody on Sirius Satellite Radio at 5:40 p.m.

He will end his day as a special guest host of Speed TV's popular "Trackside" show, which airs at 6:30 p.m. Force will join regular hosts Steve Byrnes, Darrell Waltrip, Jeff Hammond and Larry McReynolds for anhour of fun and lively discussion.
