“I want to make sure that the clutch pedal adjustment is right. I want to make
sure that as I let the pedal out the tires begin turning immediately. I don’t
want there to be any lag.”
Kalitta’s plan is much the same as it was last year,
although he obviously hopes to avoid another crushing defeat at the last
instant.
“We’re looking to win every race possible,” he says. “Then we’ll just
have to see how things shake out with everyone else.”
