GARLETS SIGNS WYOTECH

In 2007, the Garlets Motorsports A-fuel dragster team will be teaming up with the “Official Technical School” of the NHRA as their major sponsor.  The team, which is based out of Lowell, Indiana, will be traveling to over 20 races throughout the season in an effort to bring attention to WyoTech, which currently has over 10,000 students in 7 different locations nationwide.

Dick Garlets, owner and driver of the new Hadman chassis dragster, couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity.

“It is a real honor for us to be representing such a great school.  They really do a lot to help the students succeed in class and get out into the job market.  And to have some of the students from one of the leading technical training providers in the country working on my car this year will be a great experience for everyone.”

“I know this school has been involved in many aspects of racing from Super Comp to Pro Stock Bike.  We are very excited to be part of that team this year.”

At WyoTech their goal is to use the best resources possible to provide students with the skills and training that will lead to successful employment upon graduation.  The school is also equipped with a Career Services Office that works directly with business, industry, and advisory board members to assist the students in gaining access to the marketplace.

They offer a variety of program fields including autobody, automotive technology, aviation, diesel technology, HVAC, motorcycle and watercraft.  The various locations across the country include Blairsville, PA, Boston, MA, Daytona Beach, FL, Laramie, WY, Fremont, CA, Oakland, CA, and Sacramento, CA.
