MMP EXTREME MAKEOVER IS UNDERWAY

Work began Friday on a big-time makeover at Montgomery Motorsports Park.
First on the agenda was cutting out both water boxes.  MMP Track Manager Bob
Carney and Maintenance Director Robert Griffin directed the effort which
began Friday and ended today (1/13).  The new water boxes will be placed
early next week, paving the way (pardon the pun) for a major track
grinding/resurfacing. Work began Friday on a big-time makeover at Montgomery Motorsports Park.

All this work will be done in plenty of time to open up the MMP 2007 season
with a special Flowmaster American Drag Racing League Test and Tune session
February 3-4.  Bracket and heads -up cars with slicks only (no street tires,
please) will be able to participate in this Test and Tune session for only
$15 ($10 for spectators).  This Test and Tune will draw a ton of ADRL cars
because it comes only two weeks before the ADRL makes it's premiere
appearance at MMP with the third annual SpeedTech Winter Drags Feb. 16-18.
That event will also mark the debut of the Extreme 10.5 class for ADRL,  The
addition of the wild and unpredictable "10,5" cars to the already outrageous
Pro Extreme and Pro Nitrous classes should mean a huge field of racers and
tons of fans in the stands for the  ADRL Speedtech Winter Drags  at MMP .

More information on February 3 and 4 Test and Tune hours will be posted soon
at mmpdragracing.com
