Winning the NMCA title wasn't enough for Vinny Budano and Scott Shafiroff. The Long Island, New York-based duo traveled to Las Vegas where they won the Streetcar Super Nationals with their "Bad Apples" 68 Camaro during the Streetcar Super Nationals in Las Vegas.

After securing the number one qualifing spot with a 6.39 at over 220 mph, Budano advanced through four tough rounds of eliminations to match up with Pacific Street Car Association champion Steve Paulauskis and his WFO team.

As the two eased into the staging beams the huge crowd collectively held their breath knowing they were about to see two of the best battle it out to the finish line. Steve grabbed the early lead but Vinny immediately started to reel in the WFO Cavalier.

With the header flames lighting up the night, at the 1000-foot mark "Shafiroff Horsepower" pushed the "Bad Apples" Pro Street Camaro past the WFO Cavalier for the win with another 6.39 and a new Streetcar Super National record...capping off an incredible season for the Budano/Shafiroff team.
The final tally of Budano and Shafiroff success included:

o 5 Wins in NMCA

o #1 Qualifier 5 times

o NMCA record holder for et & mph

o #1 Qualifier and runner-up at the Shakedown at E-Town
