David Hedges, of Plainwell, MI, was the #1 qualifier, for the second year in a row, of the Top Alcohol Dragster with a pass of 5.602 at 255.89mph. That pass also earned him the Low. E.T. slot while Dave Heintzman, of Decatur, MI secured the Top Speed of 257.28mph. The season finale for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Quick 16 will finish tomorrow. The #1 qualifier was Dean Karns, Jr, of Fairborn, OH. He took both Top Speed and Low ET with his pass of 6.675 at 206.18mph. Although Stuart’s, Charlie Cullotto (Q16) went out in the first round, he cinched the points championship for the year.

Saturday’s race schedule will finish on Sunday, November 26th due to inclement weather. The night was sealed with a tremendous fireworks display from Sparktacular Fireworks. The racing action continues tomorrow with gates opening at 8:30am. Eliminations for all classes will run at 12:30pm including: Top Alcohol Dragsters, the JW Performance Super Street, Super Comp and Super Gas as well as the second race for all ET Bracket classes. The exhibition vehicles will run a whopping three times on Sunday. Hopefully this time, the “Shockwave” Jet Truck won’t light the tower on fire.

Spectator admission is $25 for adults while kids 11 and under are FREE. For more information on this event, please call the track office at (561) 622-1400 or visit the website at www.MorosoMotorsportsPark.com
