PARDON THE DUST, WE’RE REMODELING

Starting Wednesday morning, November 15, Torco’s CompetitionPlus.com will be making crucial upgrades to the e-zine in order to improve your reading experience. Speed and reliability are the keys to this upgrade.

We’ll spare you the technical details, but in a nutshell, we’ll be presenting the site via multiple computer servers, which will improve the current page loading time by as much as 75% over our previous single server effort.

The photo galleries will be housed on a new server in order to handle the high demand for this popular section, although for our readers the transition will be seamless.

As confident as we are with this new hardware, we’re also prepared for a few glitches here and there. Once these pop up we’ll have our Tech Department attacking them immediately.

“We wanted to get through Pomona before we attempted such a major transition,” said Torco’s CompetitionPlus.com Publisher Bobby Bennett. “We want to be in tune with our reader’s wants and needs and the page loading time was the primary complaint from our readers. There are other issues that we’re addressing, and we’re working our way through each and every one of them as quickly as possible.

“Our goal is to be best in every aspect of what we do, and we sincerely believe the transition to more servers will be a key factor in improving your experience with Competitionplus.com.”
