Ultra-Gold™ Aluminum Rockers are now being offered for General Motors
LS engines (Gen III LS1, -2, -4, -6; and Gen III truck 4.8, 5.3 and
6.0-liter engines) and deliver all of these same benefits in stock
1.72:1 and 1.82:1 ratios for those desiring even more added
performance. These ratios were carefully selected to generate the most
performance improvement for LS-family engines. They also feature an
integrated spring oiler hole in the rocker body to cool the valve

EDELBROCK PERFORMER EPS INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR SMALL-BLOCK CHEVY

is pleased to announce the release of the Performer EPS intake manifold
#2703 with front oil-fill tube for small-block Chevy. Classic Chevy
owners can now take advantage of modern intake manifold design and
retain the classic looks of the 1959-67 Corvette valve covers, thanks
to the addition of the front oil fill tube of the #2703.

The Performer EPS, originally introduced in 2001, brought a modern
design carbureted small-block Chevy intake manifold to the market.
Engineered with Pro-E 3D modeling software, the dual-plane tuned
runners of the Edelbrock Performer EPS delivers 5 horsepower and 9
ft./lbs of Torque in the idle-5500 rpm range over the Performer #2101
intake. Additional improvements include a true square-bore carb
mounting flange, removal of the heated choke well and the addition of
Edelbrock's Made in USA badge of honor. The #2703 includes a chrome oil
fill tube (uninstalled) and breather.

WIRELESS ALARM/GPS TRACKING SYSTEM FOR RACING INDUSTRY UNVEILED

for the racing community today with the unveiling of alarmTrak, a new
Wireless Alarm/GPS Tracking System designed specifically to safeguard
the expensive haulers, equipment and tow vehicles that are the
cornerstone investment of every race team.  This innovative device
tackles the multifaceted problem of break-ins to steal tools and other
valuable assets inside haulers and the actual theft of trailers and the
vehicles that tow them.  

The system components are “Part Alarm” and “Part GPS Tracking” and
include a piercing siren, wireless transmitter, shock sensor and GPS. 
When thieves open a door, the wireless transmitter signals the siren. 
Enter through an unprotected window, movement will jolt the shock
sensor and the siren will also sound.  Within a minute or less of the
disturbance, the system sends a text message and email that reads
“Alarm Active” with the date, time and address of the vehicle.  If your
entire hauler is stolen, you can track it from your cell phone or
internet device as it travels down the road.  This critical information
provided to law enforcement in the minutes immediately following a
theft can spell the difference between a total loss or full recovery.

PROTECTION AGAINST DAMAGE FROM BOTTOMING OUT

trail hazards, can prevent proper crankshaft operation or starvation
from vital component lubricant. Both of these conditions will lead to
costly repair or catastrophic failure. SLAM-GUARD Oil Pans and
Transmission Pans, from Trans-Dapt Performance Products, have an
integrated 3/16" thick steel skid plate that reinforces the exposed
bottom of the pan to protect against shell deformation or rupture.
