Lunati LS1 I-Beam Rods

The Lunati LS1 I-Beam rod measures 6.125” in length, 2.100” on the big
end, .928” on the small end, and weighs a mere 609 grams. 

Lunati LS1 I-Beam rods are fully machined from forged 4340 aircraft
quality steel, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened after
machining, and individually magnafluxed to ensure the highest level of
quality.  Sets are weight matched to +/-1.5 grams and utilize 7/16”
ARP® 2000 cap screws.
Lunati maintains the highest tolerances in the industry for center to
center distances, rod width, rod offset, big end bore, small end bore,
bearing tang location, bend and twist.

Lunati I-Beam are ideal for turbo and supercharged applications, drag
racing, performance street use, off road vehicles, or any other
application where only the best will do.

Earl’s Ultra Flex 67 Series Hose Ends

EARL’S is announcing the availability of their new 67 Series Ultra Flex Hose ends.

Flexä hose ends are available in 4 through 16 AN sizes and come in
straight, 45° low profile, 45° tube, 90° low profile, 90° tube, 120°
tube, 150° tube, and 180° tube configurations. 

Ultra Flex hose ends are the lightest alternative in plumbing a race
engine. The Ultra Flex hose ends are coated with a Mil-Spec Type III
hard anodizing that is impregnated with Teflon® to significantly reduce
friction of the fluids running though the line and withstand the
harshest fuels and chemicals.  Ultra Flex Hose ends last 15 to 20 times
longer than traditional fittings with standard anodizing. 

Crip Collars are included with every hose end and must be securely
crimped to the Ultra Flex 650 hose using the Ultra Flex crimping

Weiand Action Plus Low Rise Dual Plane Small Block Ford Intake

sets a new precedent in intake manifold design for which all others
will follow with their new Action Plus™ low dual plane intake manifold
for 221, 260, 289, and 302 small block Ford engines, P/N 8124.

Using Pro-E computer design, rapid prototyping, CFD air flow design,
along with a permanent mold casting process, the 8124 produces more
horsepower and torque then similar intakes currently on the market. 
The permanent mold casting process produces a lighter and more
consistent casting.  The results are smoother isolated intake runners
that optimize atomization of fuel, a cooler denser air, better mixing
of fuel/air and better distribution of the fuel/ air to the cylinders
creating more power.

Each casting is CNC machined to give an exact fit and exact port match
to the heads with ports measuring 1.82” H and 1.02” W.  The 8124 makes
best power from idle to 5500 RPM’s while giving excellent hood
clearance with a front height of 3.82” and a rear height of 4.75” and
has a 4150 style square bore mounting flange.

The Weiand Action +Plus 8124 is available in three finishes, satin P/N
8120, hand polished aluminum P/N 8124P and the new Everbright™ finish
P/N 8124C.  The Everbright™ finish has the look of polished aluminum
and the durability of powder coating.  It is low maintenance with no
polishing required and will not be affected by heat or gasoline spills.

Universal Super Charger Kit for GM LS Engines

LS engines have become the engine of choice for street rods, street
machines and even the latest crop of high-end sand buggies. It’s no
wonder – their aluminum construction makes them extremely light and
they can produce huge power with a minimum of modification. In fact, a
bit of boost is all your LS engine needs no matter what vehicle it’s
in. Magna Charger offers a universal system capable of 700+HP. In fact
engine guru Kenny Duttweiler has coaxed 740HP out of his 402ci LS2 with
only 8 lbs of boost and a few of his traditional cam and cylinder head

The Magna Charger Universal MP122 kit for LS1 and LS2 engines fits
virtually any application. Its low profile design slips under most
hoods without modification, and the optional front or rear air
supercharger inlet offers the car builder a choice of solutions for
tightly packaged engine compartments.

The MP122 supercharger kit features a roots/hybrid design with an
integral water-to-air intercooler and a patented equal length runner
intake manifold. The Magna Charger system makes more power from
1500-6500rpm than any other system. A unique integral bypass valve
limits supercharger drag to one horsepower under normal driving

The Universal MP 122 kit is complete with all necessary components for
installation including the intercooler circulation pump, new fuel rails
and fuel injectors, factory “push lock connectors” and a fuel pressure
regulator adapter when required. A computer program is uploaded to the
factory ECU for optimum calibration of the supercharger system. The
transmission shift points, line pressure and converter strategies are
adjusted for the best use of the increased power.

Hooker Super Competition 2005-06 Mustang GT Headers

Headers is proud to announce the  availability of their Super
Competition Headers for the 2005-06 Mustang GT, P/N 6223HKR.  The
6223HKR is a tuned length long tube header for off-road use only.

The 6223HKR headers utilized lightweight 16 gauge 30” tuned length
1-5/8” primaries merging into a 9” long 2.5” slip fit collector for a
simple, leak-free installation.  Thick 3/8” machined flanges result in
a perfect leak free seal against the cylinder heads.   All emission
control fittings are included for easy installation, including the O2
sensor extensions. Not included are O2 simulators for the rear sensors.
Installed these headers result in minimal ground clearance loss over
stock and work with the Factory H-Pipe or Hookers Cross-pipe P/N
16684HKR.  Installation is a snap, since these headers can be installed
from underneath with only disconnection of the O.E. Steering Coupler.  

Hooker’s 6223HKR header comes finished with a baked on high heat
resistant black paint or for a show look Hooker also offer’s the
6223HKR header with a Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating, P/N
6223-1HKR.  This coating provides improved thermal stability reducing
the possibility of header cracking.  The high luster finish is rust
resistant and acts as an insulator resulting in higher exhaust
temperatures within the system to increase performance while lowering
the under-hood temperatures.
