Coolant Enhancer the Newest Addition to VP Madditive® Line
 
VP Racing Fuels today introduced a new, improved formula for VP Cool Down™, its popular coolant performance improver for high-performance radiator systems.  Now included in VP’s portfolio of VP Madditive® performance chemicals, Cool Down decreases cylinder head temperatures up to 50°F!  
 
“Cool Down increases coolant flow for better heat transfer while lubricating all the vital components without the crystallization you find with other coolant additives,” said Bruce Hendel, Director of Sales-Consumer Products.  “It won't harm radiators or water pumps and it’s approved by most race sanctioning bodies.
 
“Cool Down is safe for all radiator systems.  It’s ideal for racing, street, RV and tow vehicle applications, and like all VP's products it's formulated by the Mad Scientist with the same leading technology and passion for performance that we bring to our race fuels.”
 
One 16 oz. bottle of Cool Down treats cooling systems of 12-20 quarts.  For systems over 20 quarts, one ounce of Cool Down is required for each additional quart.  For straight water applications, an additional 50% more Cool Down is recommended while diesel applications require twice the normal amount.  Treatments last for one year or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first.
