PRO SYSTEMS SV-1 EASIER TO TUNE IN 2012

sv1clearblack2Since the introduction of the SV1 it has been constantly improved to fit wider and wider ranges of applications.

The design has proven itself in countless arenas and has many Records and Championships as a result.

But one of the complaints was that it was difficult to understand just how to tune one as it had a very complex
combination of ports that would offer infinite tuneability for the experienced tuner but was a bit confusing to
novices.  Well all that has changed.

Pro Systems heard you and has redesigned the SV1 to now be what they feel is the simplest carburetor on the market to tune.

Its now equipped with part throttle ports.  These two upper and two lower ports, control all the part throttle driveability.

Best of all they are located on the primary side of the main body ONLY.  So all you need to do to lean out or richen
your part throttle air to fuel ratio is to remove the front metering block and change the jets that control that range of operation.

sv12012ports2Smaller jets equal leaner part throttle operation and bigger jets equal richer part throttle operation.

Best of all, unlike similar changes on four barrel carburetors, this new port design will not change the wide open throttle air to fuel ratio.

The SV1 is already known for offering unrivaled idle quality that surpasses E.F.I.  Allowing even 1200 h.p. 632 c.i. engines
the ability to idle cleanly at only 750 rpm if the owner wishes (perfect for street or marine applications).

But now the SV1 has an easy to understand part throttle tuning capability that no other carburetor can achieve and best
of all it uses no special gaskets.  All gaskets and seals are standard 4150 series components.

Truly a Revolutionary American Built/Designed and Manufactured carburetor that keeps getting better every year.
