Clay is the first Top Fuel driver I have ever personally known; sure I have known who some are, but never had an opportunity to actually meet one, get to know them and their family, spend time with them in their pits at a national event.  Clay Millican and Mark Pickens, along with their families and race team are wonderful, caring, giving, God loving people.  My wife and I feel very special and privileged that we met them.

We wish both families and the "Hope4Sudan" race team much success and safety as they roar into the 2009 season in a cloud of nitro fumes! - John Birdsong

This literally had tears running down my face. I witnessed firsthand how stressed out and down Clay was. This article really put it all in to perspective that everything happens for a reason. God never shuts one door without opening another. Our Momma has told us that all our lives.
