FEEDBACK FRIDAY – AUSTIN COIL RESIGNS FROM JOHN FORCE RACING

FEEDBACK ARTICLE – AUSTIN COIL RESIGNS FROM JOHN FORCE RACING

RELATED STORY: COIL FIGURED IT WAS TIME TO LEAVE

Austin-CoilAustin Coil will be missed. After 26 years, he should have resigned in person and not through a letter. Mike Neff will do fine as head crew chief, he tuned Gary Scelzi’s car for a couple of season and won. I bet Don Schumacher wishes he still had him on his team. Team Force will be back, but there WILL be an empty hole in the team. - Dan Jonas

JF racing will rebound from this issue. The talent on board at JF racing will find a way to bounce back. One Monkey don't stop the show! Look for JF racing to be strong as ever next year. - John Duzac

I like coil he has done a great job with force and drag racing does he think he is the only one the economy hurt, jobs lost company's closing less sponsor money I wish him well and i hope him and his wife do get a nostalgia funny car that would be great. - Randy Schulze

Maybe if Coil had been able to tune Force to more championships in the four years they didn’t win he would have made more money. Seems more like his feelings are hurt more than his pocket by Neff getting credit for the win. - John Dougherty

That is great news for Coil, the old "Chi-Town Hustler" himself. Wish him and Lisa could get a '71 Challenger and re-create the old "Hustler". It is about time he took a break from drag racing to be around his wife. Way past time to take a break from Force and all the shennanigans that team plays as well as the Ford team. It is just so evident the games they play, makes me sick, no wonder I drive an old '71 Dodge D-100, it ain't never been "F"ound "O"n "R"oad "D"ead. - Mark Elms

There comes a time in life when you realize all work and no play takes a toll on you mentally and physically !! I watched Austin tune the Chi- town Hustler when I was a kid. It would be GREAT to see him play with a nostalgia funny car with that name on it again!  Leave the man alone and let him enjoy himself, John will do just fine without him! - Bill Neri
