CLASSIC VIDEO - SEVEN SECOND LOVE AFFAIR

Long before Rick Stewart flipped the switches at NHRA Drag Races as the official starter, he appeared in one of the more popular drag racing documentaries ever made.

Seven Second Love Affair was Les Blank’s first documentary/photography job shooting Drag Racers in Long Beach, CA, driving everything from hopped-up street stockers to supercharged dragsters.

In 1965 when the leading Top Fuel cars were stopping to the clocks at 220, this documentary follows the early days of Stewart as a drag racer trying his best to attain the world record.

This video was written and directed by Robert Abel with the music score by Canned Heat Blues Band.

IS THIS THE GREATEST DRAG RACING DRIVER MELTDOWN EVER?

Saying John Force is prone to a wide-open rant regularly is like saying the sun is hot to the touch.

At the 1989 NHRA Chief Nationals hosted by the Texas Motorplex, Force was as hot as the mid-day sun when race officials disqualified him in the first round for hitting the outer boundary (the retaining wall) against Ed McCulloch. The only problem was - Force didn't hit the wall.

#LEGENDStheSERIES PREVIEW - THE LEGEND OF MIKE DUNN

Are you ready for Season 6 of the highly acclaimed internet documentary series focusing on the legends of the drag strip?

Mike Dunn was absolutely correct in his assessment that many expected him to automatically graduate into the fuel racing ranks just because of his status as Jim Dunn's son. He did make his way into the fuel ranks but did so because he worked his way up from crewman to driver. The road was filled with bumps and bruises, but one which led to a career where he admittedly never spent a dime of his own money to participate.

This preview provides a glimpse of what is to come on April 16, 2020, at 8 PM, EST., when the new season debuts.

#LOVETHISLIFE - THE ANTHONY DICERO EDITION

Sit down for a hilarious and heartwarming one-on-one chat with "Nitro University" owner Anthony Dicero as he talks about his journey as teacher, mentor, crew chief, business owner and dad. Anthony opens up about his triumphs and struggles along the way, and about his relationships with some of the brightest stars in NHRA. Produced by Warren Evans of dragracer.tv.

CLASSIC VIDEO - LIFE IN THE QUICK LANE

This documentary is the perfect way to spend your time, thinking back to the days of yesteryear when drag racing had the wow power because it was still a virtually unknown commodity.

The legends were very much involved in 1979, from Don Prudhomme to Don Garlits to Shirley Muldowney. Drag racing was still wide enough open to command an audience for such a documentary which would usually air in the afternoons on weekend when three channel, black and white television were still in the majority.

This video has a little bit of everything from NHRA to AHRA, Top Fuel to Funny Car to Pro Stock. If you can excuse the audio sounds of big block automatic cars on obvious four-speed Modifieds, you will enjoy this class.

CPTV CLASSIC - BURNOUT THE MOVIE

A troubled teenager, whose sole desire is to become a great drag racer, almost ruins his own dreams when he spurns his dad's racing advice. But support from his girlfriend enables him to prove his abilities to the racing world, his father and himself.

You'll see a few cameo appearances from the classic drag racing community. It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

CLASSIC VIDEO: 1979 NHRA CAJUN NATIONALS
