The second season of CompetitionPlusTV's Legends: The Series kicks off August 28 with 10 episodes featuring legends such as the team of Reher, Morrison & Shepherd, Don Schumacher, Bob Glidden and more. In this episode we show you a snippet of the season-opener, with David Reher discussing the day drag racing was robbed of a great freind and tremendous driver when Lee Shepherd was killed while testing in Ardmore, Oklahoma. And, in one of the many dramatic clips of race footage included we present Shepherds crowning achievement in 1981 when he raced and beat the late John Hagen in the final round at Orange County International Raceway.
