Pam Hardy doesn't see herself as a drag racing legend. However, in just four years, the teenager from West Chester, Pa., grew into an iconic figure well beyond the shapely curves which filled a halter top and skin tight jeans.

In four years, Hardy, more commonly referred to in drag racing lore as "Jungle Pam," became a hit with race fans and forever immortalized her participation in drag racing as the ultimate B.U.G., more commonly known as Back Up Girl.
