WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE - The Super Stock/A division was at one time was the top of the line for the then factory hot rods. It was an A-classed car, with a manual transmission which meant the level of badassery was at a premium to race with this group. Over the years, such programs as the the merger with with Modified Eliminator in 1982, and later the Dodge Hemi Shootout, and the addition of the Factory Stock classifications took some of the luster off of the old meat eaters. But for three diehard Super Stock racers, the breed is still lurking in the staging lanes and ready to devour the competition.
