Message Board Crewchiefs

I think you editorial was right on the money and needed to be said! Good work! - Micah Colley

Hear, Hear sat it again, besides I've always liked to have fun, but not at someone else's expense. - Dennis210@aol.com

You speak the truth brother! Well said....it's a shame that some mental midgets have affected the masses....great topic to address...and well done....although I'm sure it will fall on many deaf ears. - Sklooty@aol.com

This is Dennis Smith. You will say who the hell is Dennis Smith. I am Robbie Atchison's Uncle and I do his marketing work. We have met as recently as Martin. Thank you for your wonderful editorial, well written and well thought out. I remember the bashing Rob took for his .006 red-light at Milan on a couple of chat sites. Six thousandths of a second. Sure am glad I don't drive!! Keep up the good work. - Dennis Smith

Thanks Bobby that was a great editorial.

Yeah, I'm one of those message board junkies. I love the sport of dragracing in all forms. As you said for the most part we are a pretty reasonable bunch. I hate all the name calling and bickering that a few people feel they can't live without. Just in the time that I have been visiting and participating on the boards I've seen the decline of owners, drivers, and crew people activity there. It is a shame, because as a fan I really enjoyed that chance to learn more about every aspect of the sport.

Thanks for this site as well. I love to come here and get all the latest info as you are not dedicated to just one sanctioning body, but cover it all. I also enjoy the chat room here on occasion. I've met a lot of good people here and at the message boards. Keep up the good work. - Deby

Very well written, couldn't agree more.

I browse chat rooms, but at times used to (now I ignore) comments from some people hiding behind stupid names making coments about drivers or teams. I have worked 7 days a week for the last year with 6 months to go on making my dream car come a reality. Care factor when my car is finished what some nameless person says of it NILL!

I'd like to hear their stories of how they sacrificed family life i.e. quality time, to live their dream instead of hiding behind a keyboard because they have nothing better to do! - lance.ginbey@bigpond.com

CompPlus Reader in Need

Awesome insight, I tell everyone including our announcer at Maple Grove about you. Could you possibly A.direct me to Sterling Chassis, they build junior fuel dragsters and I am in the market for one.

B. What is the deal between angelle and the Hines boys?

Whoever your mole in the drag world is, pay him well, almost all of his "Rumors" come to fruition. - Ken Becker

Here ya go buddy, they can be reached at Stirling Race Cars, 4670 Patsy Drive, Kingman, AZ. 86401 or call(928)757-8135 and ask for Robert. When you contact them let them know if they had advertised at CompetitionPlus.com that you could have made your order sooner. As for Angelle and the Hines boys, that debate goes back to the days when she rode for George Bryce and Star Racing. It didn't make relations any better when Matt went on national television and accused Angelle of cheating. - Editor

TAD Rule Changes

I am truly shocked to read that the NHRA has chosen to interfere with Top Alcohol Dragster. First of all no one has to run either combination. If one is better just switch. although I have limited experience I think that running nitro is a little cheaper. And slowing a class down for any reason
other than safety is counter productive. If I put a legal motor combination together come out and kick ass with it why should I be penalized. To be competitive takes hard work and dedication. Injected nitro is awesome let the racers be innovative. Don't stifle the sport, let the racers be
creative. If anything create another class. Anything but more limitations, More inspections, more hassles with trying to police all new rules. Please forward to the NHRA. - Kjellin Grassity

We forwarded your letter. Thanks for reading. - Editor
